Android app

CinderGlow works offline. The Android app does not collect or transmit personal information to Flint Marmot Games. It has no account registration, advertising, analytics, tracking or developer-operated crash-reporting service. It does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone or files, and does not request Internet permission.

Game progress and settings

Your progress, Embers, equipment, achievements, discoveries, daily rewards and settings are saved locally on your device so you can continue playing. They are not sent to us or shared with other players. There is no cloud save or cross-device synchronization.

Local data stays until you clear the app's storage or uninstall it. To delete it on Android, open your device's Settings, find CinderGlow under Apps, then choose Storage and Clear storage (names vary by device). This permanently deletes your progress. We cannot recover a deleted save. The app disables Android's automatic backup.

Browser version and this website

The browser game saves progress and preferences in your browser's local storage and caches game files for offline use. Clearing the site's data removes these saves. This policy page itself does not set app-owned cookies, store game progress or include analytics.

Loading the browser game or this page requires a connection to the hosting provider, which may process technical information such as your IP address, browser details and request logs to deliver and secure the site. The hosted game may require the hosting provider's sign-in. The browser game also requests fonts from Google Fonts. These website connections are separate from the offline Android app; the Android app bundles its fonts locally.

Ads, purchases and sharing

The current game has no advertisements and does not process real-money purchases. We do not sell or share your in-app personal data because the app does not collect it. Google Play and your device platform may independently process installation, store or diagnostic information under their own privacy policies and your device settings.

Contacting us

If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond to your question or privacy request. Email is handled through our email provider, Google Gmail. Do not send passwords or sensitive information.

We keep support correspondence only as long as needed to handle the request and meet applicable legal obligations. You can request deletion of your correspondence by emailing us. We cannot delete or inspect your device's local save remotely.

Security and children

Local game data is kept in the app's device storage, protected by Android's app sandbox. Keep your device secure; no storage or email system is completely risk-free. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the game. If a child has sent us personal information by email, a parent or guardian can contact us to request its deletion.

Policy changes

We will update this policy and its effective date when our practices change, including before introducing features that collect personal information. An updated copy will be available in the app's Help section and on this policy website.
